Job Summary:
Our client, a leading company in the broadcasting and streaming industry, is seeking an experienced Broadcast Engineer to join their team in Boca Raton. This is a direct hire, full-time position, offering an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge broadcast technologies in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with broadcast systems and streaming technologies, including Akamai, Zixi, AWS Media Connect, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Akamai and Zixi systems to ensure seamless streaming and broadcast performance.
Administer and maintain AWS Media Connect and Elemental Live services.
Oversee the operations of OTT/OTA platforms and ensure they meet performance standards.
Implement and manage various streaming protocols including HLS, SRT, RTP, RTMP, and Zixi.
Handle encoding/decoding operations, setup, and maintenance to ensure high-quality signal transmission.
Troubleshoot and resolve broadcast and streaming issues quickly and efficiently.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and improve broadcast workflows and systems.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in streaming and broadcast technologies.
Key Qualifications:
Proven experience with Akamai management.
Zixi Administrator certification or experience.
Strong background in AWS Media Connect and Elemental Live services.
Expertise in OTT/OTA platforms and streaming methods, including HLS, SRT, Zixi, RTP, and RTMP.
Solid understanding of encoding/decoding operations, setup, and maintenance.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex broadcast and streaming issues.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
